The coolest and driest period to visit Jamaica is from January to April, in the South December is also fine.
Hurricane season runs from June to November with August to October as the highest risk to get affected by tropical storms and hurricanes.

Devils Reef, Ocho Rios;
This 65 to 130 ft reef is only minutes from the shore, the reef has many crevices and cracks full of marine life. Eels, Barracudas, Turtles, Snappers, Groupers & Jackfish can be seen along with Sea fans, Sponges & Staghorn Corals.
This is a 40 to 70 ft Cavern dive that got ist's name because of Elephant Ear sponges that look like a throne.
Octopus, Trout, Nurse Sharks, Snapper, Eels, Turtles and Stingrays make that this is the #1 dive in Negril.
Sunken plane, Montego Bay;
At a depth of 80 ft, this big plane is covered in Purple fans, Basket Sponges and Black Coral. Starfish, Grunt, Snappers, Lobster, Parrotfish &Tobaccofish made their home of this plane wreck.
Widowmakers cave, Montego Bay;
The walls of this cave are covered in Black, and other soft Corals, Sponges, Gorgonians and Sea fans. The cave starts at 35 ft and reaches 80 ft maximum depth. Blue Angelfish, Turtles, Creole Wrasses, Grouper and Snapper can be observed at Widowmakers cave.
SS Catheryne wreck, Ocho Rios;
With a max. depth of 49 ft, this Canadian Minesweeper is home to a variety of Marine life; Stingrays, Bluehead Wrasses, Sergeant Majors, Lobster, Hamlets and Squirelfish. This shallow dive site is one of the most popular in Ocho Rios.
